Filmed in 10 countries around the world by Academy Award winning videographer Eric Thiermann and produced by Ellen St. Thomas, this documentary, premiering at the Pacific Rim Film Festival in October 2011, explores the importance of bells in the lives of people of various cultures. The half-ton Sigismund bell from the Krakow Cathedral, temple bells from Kyoto, Greek pagan festival bells and echoes from Tibet are but a few samples lavishly filmed, with appearances and soundtrack from Sonos and narration by Alexsandra Wolska. From the wake up alarm to the ceremonial ringing, daily life owes a lot to the humble bell. The Sonos Trio makes a short live appearance. The production of this film was made possible by Salon de Sachant.
